Burel is a Portuguese Mountains' handmade fabric made entirely of wool.
Burel is a very durable and versatile fabric used to manufacture coats for the rainy days, snow and cold on the mountain, and it has evolved into countless ideas and design solutions, accompanied by a wide range of textures, patterns and colours.
Burel fabric is 100% wool, water-resistant, it has a very good thermal insulation, anti-electrostatic, abrasion resistance, it is tough, flexible, natural and don’t give off fluff.
